Roots was founded by outside-of-the-box thinkers, with a passion for nature, mental health, and getting children involved with and caring about the communities they live in. While we continue to work hard and refine the mission of our main campus in Cape Elizabeth, Maine we also recognize that our goal IS NOT unlimited growth for our school, but rather to support others in planting the seeds of meaningful experiential education in their own communities. Afterall, we believe place-based education is PERSONAL + LOCAL, and who knows your community and the incredible learning opportunities it provides better than YOU?
Through the GROW your own ROOTS program, you will receive all of the guidance necessary to successfully launch your own Roots Academy or Community Learning Studio. From creative visioning and site selection to branding, marketing, and enrolling our team will be with you every step of the way so that you can spend more time doing what you love instead of figuring out how to make things work.
What’s Included:
Roots Academy (serving children ages 5 through 12)
Community Learning Studio (serving children Birth through 6)
Investment:
The following fee structure is divided into two parts:
Initial Founder Investment which covers all support and guidance from vision to launch.
Annual fees, which are made of a yearly renewal fee and a royalty on gross revenue from all programming.
Initial License Fee: $4,500 US Dollars
Recurring Annual Fee: $500 US Dollars
Royalty: 3%
