 Career Speaker Series

In an effort to expand the curiosity and connectedness of families throughout our local community, Roots hosts a quarterly Career Speaker Series. The ethos behind the project: passions breeds passion - bring in people with a zest for their career and have them begin to cultivate this experience within the minds and hearts of young people. The format for these events lends itself for connection: three short child-geared talks from the experts, time for questions, local food and drink (outside, weather permitting) and a practical event the following weekend. Depending on the theme of the talk, the follow up event looks pretty different. The idea is to get friends who are passionate about a field out into their community to take action.
