 Community Programs

Roots hosts a variety of annual community-wide events. Much like the intricate network of roots that enable trees to communicate and support each other, these events are designed to cultivate strong connections among community members. From Parent Education Events and Career Speaker Series to our Educator Institute projects, we aim to explore and apply nature's wisdom in creating resilient, interconnected communities. Join us to dig deep, grow together, and thrive like a forest ecosystem!

Fun-draisers

Did you know that almost 25% of Roots Families receive some form of financial assistance? To help make that possible, we host several events that hopefully give back to your family as much as your giving to us! Annual fundraising events include the Cardboard Classic Sled Race, the Autumn Harvest Dinner, the Roots Farm Stand and Kids Night Out Events. 

 

Parent Education Events

We believe in not just supporting the children we work directly with, but the families of our students too. Our community is much stronger that way. As such, try to host evening events throughout the school year to help parents learn, grow and connect.
