Tuition for the 2026–2027 school year is $20,750.

A Note on Tuition

Tuition at Roots Academy reflects our commitment to small class sizes, experienced educators, and a learning environment built on strong relationships and deep care for children.

We prioritize knowing students well, supporting educators sustainably, and creating a school culture where curiosity, connection, and belonging are central to daily life.

 
 

Enrollment Deposit

 

A $1,000 non-refundable enrollment deposit is required to secure a student’s place at Roots Academy.

  • New families: Deposit due within 7 days of receiving an enrollment offer

  • Returning families: Deposit due by February 25

The enrollment deposit is applied toward the total tuition balance.
Enrollment is not considered complete until the deposit has been received.

 
 

Payment Options

Roots Academy offers several tuition payment options to support different family needs. All tuition payments are processed through our secure online payment system using automatic ACH.

 

Pay in Full (Preferred)

  • ACH or Check (Single Payment Plan Only) payment due June 1

  • No additional fee

Payment Plans

Families who choose to spread tuition payments over time may enroll in a payment plan. A 3% payment plan fee is applied to the total tuition for any extended payment option.

Payment plan options include:

  • Two-payment plan (payments due June 1 and January 1)

  • Monthly payment plan (automatic ACH withdrawals)

Important Notes

  • All payment plans require automatic ACH enrollment

  • Roots Academy does not accept manual monthly payments

  • Payment plan fees are reviewed annually

Indexed Tuition & Financial Aid

 

The enrollment deposit is non-refundable.

Enrollment represents a commitment for the full academic year.

Withdrawal policies, including any associated financial obligations, are outlined in the enrollment contract.

Roots Academy offers a limited amount of indexed tuition and need-based financial aid to support families for whom full tuition may present a barrier.

Indexed tuition is determined through a confidential application process and is reviewed annually. Because available funds are limited, not all requests can be met.

Families interested in applying for indexed tuition or financial aid are encouraged to indicate this during the application or re-enrollment process.
